Paula Zuccotti
Paula Zuccotti, from Argentina, is an ethnographer, strategist, visual artist, and author who works at the intersection of anthropology, design, and futures studies, with expertise in material culture, human behavior, and global consumption. She holds a degree in Industrial Design from the UBA (University of Buenos Aires) and a Master’s degree in Design, Strategy, and Innovation from Brunel University (United Kingdom). As a consultant, from her studio in London, she leads global research projects for brands such as Loewe, Google, Decathlon, Hyundai, and IKEA. As an artist, her independent projects reveal the invisible stories of everyday life through the objects we touch, carry, wear, and use. This approach began with her book *Every Thing We Touch: A 24-Hour Inventory of Our Lives* (Penguin, 2015), and continued with the global archive *Lockdown Essentials* during the pandemic and the short film *Future Archaeology*. In 2023, she co-curated the exhibition *Del Cielo a Casa: An Ethnographic Look at Argentine Material Culture* at the MALBA Museum. Her work has been exhibited and published internationally; she is a lecturer and professor at Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art.
